Construction is about to begin on the Texas State Aquarium's Caribbean Journey Expansion. As a result, the dolphin show is being discontinued for the time being starting on January 1st. This is to allow work crews to do the work they need to do without disturbing the dolphins. The two dolphins, Shadow and Kai, will be relocated to the Aquarium's Sealab where they can be cared for until they return to the Aquarium.
