He was the subject of an Oscar nominated film starring Tom Hanks, and Thursday night the real Captain Richard Phillips paid a visit to Corpus Christi. He was speaking at the Ortiz Center as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of the Corpus Christi International Seamen's Center.
