Cheerleaders from Across Texas Compete at the American Bank Center Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

Cheerleaders invaded the American Bank Center Sunday and no they weren't on the sidelines! Instead they were front and center for a massive cheering competition. This was the Cheer America Competition. 79 teams in all took to the stage to show off their best routines. The Corpus Christi All-Star Sharks actually took first place in the competition last year and they were hoping to do the same this year. Tonight we are told the team took first place once again! Congrats!
