Corpus Christi City Council voted Tuesday to formally cancel the contract between the City and it's Firefighters. The contract actually expired back on July 31st. The move was triggered because of a clause in the agreement that would have cost the city roughly ten million dollars a year. According to the City, the move will not affect firefighters services. They will continue without interruption.
