Fatal Accident closes Highway for Nearly 4 Hours Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

A head-on collision kills one person and sends another to the hospital, Thursday morning. Officers say a wrong-way driver slammed into a car on westbound N.P.I.D. near Bear Ln. around 4:30 a.m. One person was pronounced on scene, the other was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Police say they are investigating a possible D.W.I. charge.
