Port Aransas Votes To Ban Plastic Bags Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

The Port Aransas City Council has voted 5 to 1 to pass a ban on plastic bags. The ban will begin on January 1, 2015. Business there will have a year grace period to get rid of their plastic bags and transition to alternatives.
