Hannah Overton Returns to Court for Pretrial Hearing Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

Hannah Overton, the woman accused of killing her four-year old foster son Andrew Byrd, was back in court Thursday for a pretrial hearing in the re-trial of her capital murder charge.It was back in December when Overton was released from jail on a $50,000 bond after a court of appeals overturned her 2007 capital murder conviction. Their reason for overturning the conviction was cited as insufficient defense council.
