Neighborhood Awakened by Loud Explosion from Nearby Dumpster Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

Residents living on Vernon Drive were awakened around 1 a.m. Thursday by a loud explosion. Because of their proximity to area refineries, many expected alarms to sound. Instead, they discovered that the blast came from a nearby dumpster.
