City and State Leaders Gather to End Domestic Violence Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

City and state leaders came together to hold a candlelight vigil at Cole Park in response to an increased number of deaths from domestic violence this year alone.Eight names were read following a moment of silence for the eight victims who have died in Corpus Christi in 2015 due to domestic violence.Members of the Corpus Christi Police Department along with Mayor Nelda Martinez and State Representative Todd Hunter each spoke about services available to help victims of domestic violence.
