Council Approves Big Event Ordinance Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

There are some new rules for organizers who put on parades, runs, and other events that require City street closures. Tuesday City Council members passed an ordinance that would require an organizer to apply for a permit 60 days before a scheduled event. Previously organizers only had to submit the permit just 3 days before.
