In order to meet the demand for blood, the Coastal Bend Blood Center needs about 150 volunteers on a daily basis, that's why the blood center's blood-mobile was parked in front of Sam's on Saturday for their fishing for donors blood drive. The blood center says the need for blood increases in the spring and summer months and with one donation you can save up to three lives.
