Children's Advocacy Center Gets a Christmas Financial Boost Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

A $10,000 check was presented to Mindy Jimenez Tuesday of the Nueces County Child Advocacy Center (CAC). The CAC also serves Kleberg and Kenedy Counties. The donation was made from the District Attorney's Asset Forfeiture funds. The money comes from assets and currency forfeited from certain felony activities, such as drug trafficking and will be used to serve the clients of the Advocacy Center.
