Police in Aransas Pass have arrested Michael Shay McElroy, 44, for causing an accident that led to the death of a small child.Police say McElroy was drinking and driving when he caused a seven vehicle crash along W. Wheeler near Gillespie back on December 5, 2014 just before 4PM. Five people in all were taken to the hospital, including two small children.One of those children has since died as a result of injuries.
