Final Benefit Held for Alex Torres Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

A final benefit was held Sunday at Cribe Bar on Ruth Street for 13-year-old Alex Torres, who was shot and killed at the Treyway Apartments when he answered the door. The family says the money raised from this benefit will go toward a bench near his burial site. The benefit went from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
