A quick thinking clerk kept a man from trying to pass off a fake 20 dollar bill as the real deal. Officers were called out to a Stripes store on NAS Drive in Flour Bluff just after midnight on Sunday, where a man came into the store and tried to use a fake 20 dollar bill to pay for merchandise. The clerk told the suspect that the bill was a counterfeit, and the man quickly left. Officers say they will review the store's surveillance video in an attempt to identify the suspect.
