Woman Arrested for DWI After Hitting a RTA Bus Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

A 34 year old woman was arrested late Saturday night after police say she struck a RTA bus. Veronica Flores was arrested. Police say she was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the accident. It happened at the corner of South Staples and Coleman Avenue just after 10 o'clock Saturday night. Police say Flores crossed over the double yellow line and struck the bus on South Staples Street. The driver of the bus was not hurt and there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.
