A funeral was held Saturday for a long time volunteer firefighter who passed away Wednesday in Beeville. Chief Robert Allen Rodgers served as a volunteer fireman for the Pettus-Tuleta Fire Department for 43 years. Today family and friends gathered at New Life Church in Beeville to celebrate his life.
