City Looking For Volunteers To Take Part In Water Testing Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

The City Utilities Department is looking for 100 volunteers to help test the tap water in older homes. Specifically, homes that have lead or copper pipes. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires cities to conduct test like this every three years. For the best results, the City needs volunteers who live in a single-family home containing lead or copper pipes with lead solder and/or is served by lead service lines installed after 1982.
