Couple Slain in Houston Area Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

HOUSTON (AP) - Harris County sheriff's officials say an 83-year-old man and his 80-year-old wife have been found murdered in their suburban home northeast of Houston. Don and Reba Rentz were last seen alive about 10 days ago. The couple's children, who live out of town, contacted a neighbor to check on them. When no one answered the door and the neighbor found it unlocked, police were summoned and found their bodies Saturday evening. Deputies have described their fatal injuries as traumatic. ...
