Corpus Christi Firefighters prevent a garage fire from spreading to a home. Crews found flames and smoke billowing from a garage on Sherwood Drive. It broke out right around 7:30 Sunday evening. Fire officials say a family was home at the time and they were all able to get out of the house. Neighbors were concerned about it spreading. Firefighters quickly put out the fire within minutes after arriving on the scene. The cause is under investigation.
