Mother Fights For New Legislation That Would Protect Young Athletes Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

13-year-old Cameron Espinosa passed away back in September of 2013 after he was bitten by ants while playing football for his Haas Middle School Team. He suffered a deadly allergic reaction. His mother Josephine, is trying to make sure no family has to suffer a similar tragedy. She will be heading to Austin next week to give her testimony and fight for Senate Bill 66. The bill would require schools in Texas to have EpiPens available.
