Red Cross Volunteers Train for Disasters Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

For the fifth year in a row, Red Cross volunteers prepared for any disasters that might strike this year including hurricane season which is right around the corner. The volunteers learned how to set up and run a shelter, a kitchen and even drive the big red cross trucks. Today they practiced how to get around obstacles in the road, just like debris they would run into during a real disaster.
