Elderly Man Bludgeoned to Death Johnny Heath Corpus Christi News Blog

A man is behind bars this morning after admitting to beating a man to death. Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department tells 3 News that an elderly man was beaten with his own cane.The suspect, Ricardo Guzman was arrested at the scene, in the 1200 block of South Gulf and confessed to killing 77 year old Juan Garza. Guzman was a tenant of the victim's and witnesses say the two were arguing. Guzman is facing first degree murder charges.
